Occasionally we will have older pups and young adults available to good homes. Pups listed here are NOT "Left overs" . We will keep 2 to 3 Puppies from our litters to evaluate. One or 2 may not turn out to have what we are looking for in our breeding program and we feel would be better suited in a Pet Home. Started Puppies/Young and Mature Adults to "Pet" Homes :
All Puppies/adults that are 6 months or older will be Spay or Neutered and will also Be Current On all Vaccinations , De-worming and Vet Exams ; Started Obedience training/or already Basic OB trained ; started on Retrieving dummies/bumpers , bird scent and pheasant wings ; and Socialized with people and other animals ; and started on /or potty trained. Please note that we do not train for "hunting", we only start the pups out with basic Retrieving , dummies, scents and Wings. See below for any Available Older Puppies or Adults. Any puppies younger then 6 months will be placed with a Spay/Neuter contract.

Started "Show Quality"Puppies and Young/Mature Adults :
Occasionally we may have a puppy , young or mature adult available to a "show home". Puppies (6 to 18 months) ; Young Adults (18 months to 2 years) and Mature Adults (3+ yrs ). All placed may be Show trained, Shown, Pointed or titled. All started Pups/Adults will be placed under a Co-Ownership w/contract. All started Pups and Adults will have completed basic Obedience Training and possibly through advanced OB with an Obedience title/s if over 8 months, house broken, crate trained , and raised with kids, cats and other dogs. All Pups/Adults between 12 to 18 months will have Prelims on Hips/Elbows , Eye exam and Optigen. All Young/Mature Adults over 2 years will have OFA finals for Hips and Elbows, Eye exam and be Optigen. Thyroid and Cardiac clearances may also be done.

Durden Labs has a 12 week old Black Lab female available for placement. She is very eager to please. She's curious, outgoing, a quick learner, listens well, loves being loved on and held . She also likes water, baths, the outdoors, flavored chew toys and will retrieve. She has a very soft, gentle mouth. She's approximately 30 lbs, UTD on shots/dewormer, has been started on heartworm preventative. Whelped 3/28/08 *12 wks old*.

Avalon's Bearly Snoring aka Dodie is retiring and is available to a Pet Home only . Dodie is very mellow and laid back with a wonderful temperament. She loves to be pampered and spends most of her days lounging around the house. She isn't much of a retriever, but she will melt your heart with her loving affectionate personality.
